The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jassim Al-Budaiwi, expected that a new round of negotiations between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the United Kingdom will be held in the British capital, London, at the end of this month, pointing out that "this round, which is the sixth, is important because it aims to remove all obstacles to the conclusion of a free trade agreement between the two parties."
Commodity markets, investment, and financial services are the most prominent files that need final consensus. These challenges to free trade negotiations between the two parties are typical in any trade negotiations, with a total of 72 trade agreements being negotiated.
